Yes, I am catching up on your blog. And by the way do you usually add a soft edge burn on most of your photos? I never really noticed it before but I'm starting to use that photoshop feature and really like it.

I watched this video on Vimeo http://vimeo.com/10733005 and like how he did his burned edges. He just makes a selection (and feathers it), inverses the selection and then uses curves to darken them down. He has another b&W video on Vimeo, but unfortunately, he didn't notice the sound was off until the end. It's still a great video.
