I let the dogs out for one of their "breaks" and noticed a beautiful red-headed woodpecker in the tree. As luck would have it, by the time I got my camera and tripod out, the woodpecker had left the area.
Since I had my camera ready, I decided I'd wait to see if any of furry family would sit for an outdoor portrait. Lucky me, Blue decided to participate. Blue takes great pictures (I'm a little partial to my pets) when he's a little pooped out from playing.
We didn't get the rain last night, but we are blessed with cooler weather!
