I went by the Kemp Center for the Arts today, and while driving home, I decided to get out of my car and take a picture of this old house. It's really creepy now, but I can just imagine the life, laughs and tears that comprise its history.
Since I was using my 50mm, I took 12 shots of the house and stitched them together in Photoshop. I then aged it with some textures from ShadowHouse Creations.
Enjoy your evening!

Wow. Beautiful what you did with the image because it emphasizes the creepiness of it.
ReplyDeleteThat's the thing, you just don't know what went on in those old homes, the joy, the sorrow, the memories. If only the walls could speak.
ReplyDeleteInteresting end result Frances. I have no idea how to 'stitch' several photos together but I can certainly see the results of the texture. Pretty cool!
This is full of curiosity - very inviting but creepy all the same! Love your PP and that texture really adds so much. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI'd be interested in seeing the original to compare. I have to believe it still evokes the Norman Bates vibe but I wonder if it looks better by comparison.
ReplyDeleteWell done, regardless.
that is a creepy house, wow. nice shot. lovely!
