I was in the backyard watching the dogs -- and noticed Hank rooting around in one of the pots. BUSTED! I quit planting flowers in the pots because the dogs dig everything up. The truth of the matter is, the squirrels hide pecans in the pots, and at some point, the dogs smell them and root around till they find the nuts.
Poor squirrels! They work so hard hiding nuts -- only to lose them to the dogs.
